What information do we collect?
We collect four kinds of information from visitors to northnorfolkflag.org.uk

•Projecting funding requests
•Feedback through online forms and emails
•Site usage information from log files

Comments and questions
If you send an e-mail or complete a web form on the website asking for information or a service, or send a comment that requires a response, it will be passed to the appropriate party who will respond to you. We do not pass on your details to any third party except those listed in this policy or if the Council is legally obliged to do so. After we have replied to you, we will keep a record of your message for at least six years.
Discussions and Consultations
Occasionally we will undertake consultations which can only be considered valid if we can identify the respondents. In these cases it will be clearly stated at the start of the consultation description and on all feedback pages that this is the case.

Log files allow us to record visitors' use of the site. We collate log file information from all our visitors, which we use to make changes to the layout of the site and to the information in it, based on the way that visitors move around it. Log files do not contain any personal information or information about which other sites you have visited. Consultations may be used to assist Council decision making.
